Summer Trip - Crown Land Week
August, 2012

In August we spent a week at the Crown Land.
It started off wet and we had to wait for a thunder storme to pass before we could cross the lake.

HMost of the boys completed 24 and 48 hour solos.
Cole shared a lot of skills with us through the week, including survival bow making.

We practised making scout shelters using the landscape.

In spite of the intermittent wet weather we were able to have many campfires and cook many meals over it.

The wet weather created many interesting mornings.

And of course, always great sunsets.
